Richard "Jerry" Latimer, P.T., A.T.C.

Originally from Atlanta, Jerry attended FSU, where he received his B.S. in Movement Science. He worked as a student trainer with the male athletes at FSU and received his Athletic Training Certification in 1990. In 1991 he received his degree in Physical Therapy.

For 5 years, Jerry was a co-owner of an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Ft. Myers. Jerry has been with TOSPT since 1997 where he served as Clinical Director for 6 years. In addition to being a part of the physical therapy team at TOSPT, he also is an adjunct professor in the Athletic Training program at FSU, is presently completing requirements for his Ph.D. in Physical Therapy degree through Nova Southeastern University and splits his time between the Thagard Student Health Center Location and the Tallahassee clinic.

Jerry has had advanced training in shoulder and knee rehabilitation, post surgical lumbar spine rehabilitation and industrial medicine. He has been very active in both the national and state associations of physical therapy.

Jerry enjoys windsurfing, jogging, reading and spending time with his family. He and his wife live in Tallahassee with their 4 young sons.
